Your support is needed!
May 6, 2016 by Striker Club
For those of you that don't know Kevin Swoboda, please let me tell you that this man has done so many things for the Chippewa Strikers Soccer Club both on a club level and on a team level. Kevin has recruited players for many different teams, served as a coach, an assistant coach, team manager, and solicited equipment for different teams, all without being asked. Kevin has always, and always will, do anything for anyone without being asked for anything. Kevin's wife, Tammy, is currently volunteering her time serving as secretary for the Chippewa Strikers Soccer Club. The Swoboda's have 3 kids playing for the Strikers.
Now Kevin and his family need our help. Kevin was recently diagnosed with cancer and has been battling for the past few months. Of course as you probably know, this takes a toll on an individual but also on a family. Kevin has been through surgeries and treatments with his family by his side. Kevin hasn't sat still when it comes to our club though. He continues working hard to get kids signed up and is preparing to help coach one of the teams.
You can show your support in 2 different ways. Both are listed below. We encourage the teams that Kevin has direct contact with to come up with their own way of showing support, but anyone is welcome to support this great family.
